Nurturing Wāhine Fund provides capital and capacity to programs that help all women and girls, with a specific focus on BIPOC women and mothers. Our vision is a world where there is gender and racial equity, and unity among BIPOC women and their allies. We’re dedicated to forging a world where every woman not only thrives but leads with unwavering support and recognition. We envision a future where the systemic barriers that have hindered the progress of women of color are dismantled, and replaced with an ecosystem of empowerment and opportunity.

As a gender equity grantor, we will be funding programs on all the Hawaiian islands. Our inclusive Board of Directors mirror the rich tapestry of each island. Through our grants, we’re not just funding programs- we’re nurturing opportunities for women and girls to flourish.
